Launched in 2006 and originally named the Northern Colorado Clean Energy Cluster, the CCEC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit economic development organization dedicated to growing primary jobs in the area of clean energy in Colorado.
Today, the Colorado Clean Energy Cluster is a well-established, thriving organization with a growing member base supporting over 32 companies employing over 3,000 people. Through its active initiatives and international collaboration the CECC is receiving increasing national and international recognition, helping to put Colorado's clean energy companies in a national and international spotlight.
CCEC projects positively impact efficiencies in energy production and consumption, and associated sustainability, when compared to continuation of existing practices in meeting the energy needs of Colorado and the world.
